MaxWOD ("we", "our", or "us") built the MaxWOD app as a free application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Authentication data — when you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email address and profile name via Firebase Authentication. You may also use the app anonymously without providing any personal information.
• Workout logs — scores, notes, and dates you enter when logging completed workouts. This data is stored in your account in Firebase Firestore.
• Usage analytics — anonymous, aggregated data about which features you use (e.g. workout searches, timer starts) collected via Firebase Analytics. This data cannot identify you personally.
• Crash reports — technical details about app errors collected via Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs. No personal information is included.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the MaxWOD app and its features.
• To save and sync your workout logs across devices.
• To identify and fix technical issues via crash reports.
• To understand how the app is used and improve it over time.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following Google / Firebase services, each governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy):

• Firebase Authentication — user sign-in.
• Cloud Firestore — cloud storage for your workout logs.
• Firebase Analytics — anonymous usage analytics.
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash reporting.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — optional push notifications.
• Firebase Storage — storage for workout media.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.

4. Data Retention

Your workout logs and account data are retained as long as your account exists. Anonymous session data collected via Analytics is retained per Google's standard Analytics retention settings (up to 14 months).

5. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. We will process your request within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

MaxWOD is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Security

We rely on Google Firebase's enterprise-grade security infrastructure to protect your data. While no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we take commercially reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
